WE WERE SO EXCITED TO FINALLY GET TO CELEBRATE

VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

WE CELEBRATED AND HAD A VERY SPECIAL DAY WITH ALL OUR FRIENDS.  ITS SO MUCH FUN LOOKING IN OUR VALENTINES SACKS TO SEE ALL THE SPECIAL CARDS AND GOODIES!

                          

AND THEN WE HAD REFRESHMENTS!!  YUM, WHAT YUMMY FOOD  WE HAD!!  THANK YOU TO ALL THE PARENTS FOR SENDING OUR PARTY REFRESHMENTS!  YOU ARE THE BEST!!

Valentine Party

Just a reminder that our Valentine Party is Thursday, Feb. 14 at 9:00.  I would like for all the students to bring their Valentine cards and mail them in the sacks before Thurday.  We won't have enough time to mail cards on Thurday morning.  So bring your cards tomorrow or Wednesday!!!!  Don't forget to bring your Valentine snacks too!!

Lemonade Time!

It looks like lemonade, it smells like lemonade, it taste like lemonade...IT IS LEMONADE!!

When life gives you lemons....make lemonade!!!  Yum!!! 

We measured and poured, squished and squeezed until we made our very own lemonade!!!  

 And boy was it tasty!

We give lemonade a "thumbs-up"!!!

Letter L!!

We loved learning about letter Ll this week!  We especially liked learning about ladybugs and lions!

We know that ladybugs have to go threw many changes before becoming a ladybug.  We also know they love to eat aphids!  We learned that lions are strong wild cats.  Male lions are the protectors and show their teeth to scare away other animals.  The female lion is the hunter and cares for the cubs.  Lions live in groups called prides!

100's Day!

Hip Hip Hurray It's 100's Day! 

We had a lot of "old" people at school for the 100th day of school!

Look at us, we are 100 years old!

We have counted and kept track of our school days.  We can hardly believe we have been together for 100 days!

 We count and sing songs to

 practice counting to 100!

Our Gardening Day!

 IT WAS A GREAT DAY TO BE OUT IN THE GARDEN!!!!  WE HAD A LOT OF FUN BEING GARDEN DETECTIVES ON OUR GARDEN SCAVENGER HUNT!

WE FOUND THE SNAPDRAGONS AND RECORDED THEIR COLORS!

WE FOUND A LADYBUG AND AND 2 BUTTERFLIES. 

 WE FOUND THE CAULIFLOWER PLANTS

 WE MEASURED A BROCCOLI PLANT

WE FOUND THE STRAWBERRIES GROWING IN THE RED BUCKET!

WE RECORDED OUR FINDINGS

AND WE MADE LEAF RUBBINGS!

GARDENING IS FUN!!!
