Which came first...the chicken or the egg?
We decided that is a hard question to answer!
We've had an "egg-cellent" week learning about
birds and eggs!
We learned that all birds have feathers, 2 wings, and lay eggs. We found out that birds are not the only ones that lay eggs. We know the largest bird is the ostrich and the smallest is the hummingbird! We identified birds of prey, song birds, wading birds, and land birds.
We set up a bird feeder outside our classroom window and filled it up with bird seeds. We have enjoyed watching the birds come to eat at the feeder. We have observed lots of Sparrows feeding and even a squirrel!!!
